Friedrich von Rechteren becomes CEO and Chairman of the Management Board at ulrich medical
Friedrich von Rechteren has been part of the Ulrich Medical Management Board since July 2024. From June 2025, he will take over as Chairman of the Management Board, succeeding Klaus Kiesel after more than 30 years in this position. The Ulm-based medical technology company is thus taking a forward-looking approach to succession in its management.

Von Rechteren joined ulrich medical last year. As CEO and Chairman of the Management Board, he is now assuming primary responsibility for the ulrich medical group. “With Friedrich von Rechteren, we have found a first-class strategist who will drive our company forward,” explains Christoph Ulrich, Managing Partner of ulrich medical. “Thanks to his experience and strong strategic understanding, he was already able to play an effective role in shaping the future direction of the company at the end of last year,” confirms Kiesel.
Kiesel will continue to be available to the company as Co-CEO until the end of the year and provide support on important strategic issues and projects before he ends his professional life after 30 successful years at ulrich medical. “I would like to thank Klaus Kiesel for his decades of extraordinary commitment to our company. He has significantly shaped ulrich medical and led us to our current success.
