V-STEADY is an acrylic-based radiopaque bone cement with immediate developtment of viscosity and long working time.

V-STEADY bone cement is ready to use less than two minutes after mixing and maintains its consistency for approximately 9 minutes thanks to its specific formulation that interrupts the polymerization reaction.
V-STEADY is ideal for spinal surgeries on more than one vertebrae and if a highly viscous cement is needed that maintains its properties for the duration of the processing time. The cement completly hardens in 14 minutes.
The cement can be prepared by hand (using a bowl and spatula) or in the closed mixing system PicoMix V. Because of its viscosity properties, it can be applied with a high-pressure gun (V-HP GUN) for controlled injection of high viscosity cement.
The viscosity properties minimize the risk of leakage during injection.(4-7)
The low polymerization temperature can reduce the risk of thermal shock for the surrounding tissue.(8)
