No matter whether you prefer PLIF or TLIF, a universal inserter that can be used for all cages means that pezo implants can be inserted between two vertebral bodies using a safe implant-instrument connection either individually or in pairs.
Thanks to the slender design of the inserter, an unobstructed, clear view of the surgical site comes as standard. The cages offer a large filling volume, which offers the ideal space for fusion with bone or bone graft material.
An approach using the ALIF technique is also possible. For this, various ways of attaching the implant to the inserter are available to suit the different surgical approach angles. The implant insertion is supported by the anatomically adapted shape and well thought-out toothing on the implant, which leads to high primary stability. There is a broad range of shapes and sizes available to adapt the implant to the patient’s own anatomy.

Cages made from PEEK Optima® LT1

The pezo family includes cages for the usual dorsal and ventral approaches for lumbar to lumbosacral interbody fusion.
The same set of instruments and inserter can be used for PLIF and TLIF. The ALIF cage can be inserted via various surgical approach angles (0°, 30°, 45°, 90°).
All cages come in sterile packaging and are ready for use. They have a shelf-life of 9.5 years.
