Working Together for Nursing: ulrich medical as Presenting Partner of “Nursing Day”

ulrich medical, together with ratiopharm ulm and the University Hospital of Ulm (UKU), is committed to promoting greater appreciation and recognition for nursing.

Nurses and healthcare professionals ensure healthcare services and perform indispensable work every day. Tickets to ratiopharm ulm’s “Nursing Day” were therefore once again distributed primarily to nursing staff at the UKU as well as to hospitals and long-term care facilities in the Ulm region. This year’s themed game day took place on September 30, 2026, during the EuroCup home game against Balkan Botevgrad. ulrich medical, a marketing partner of ratiopharm ulm since the start of the 2026–2027 season, served as the presenting partner for the first time. “Healthcare professionals are at the heart of our work. With their knowledge, experience, and great personal dedication, they take responsibility for the health of others day after day. Our products support them in their daily work—and are often developed in close collaboration with them. Nursing Day is therefore a special occasion for us to say thank you and express our appreciation to all those who do so much for others every day,” says Friedrich von Rechteren, CEO of ulrich medical.

On this day, the three organizations came together to celebrate what unites them: their regional roots and their commitment to the local community and beyond. ratiopharm ulm represents successful elite sports from Ulm; the University Hospital stands for medical care, research, and education in the region. ulrich medical has been developing and manufacturing medical technology in Ulm for 114 years. At the promotional booth of the medtech company, spectators were able to learn about ulrich medical and talk with employees about medical technology and healthcare in the region.
