CO2 Insufflator for virtual colonoscopy – Inspiringly gentle

Virtual colonoscopy is a non-invasive examination of the intestines using CT. It can supplement or replace optical colonoscopy. To provide the conditions for accurate and reliable examination results, the intestines are first distended through insufflation.

The CO₂ Insufflator ulrich® INJECT CO 2flow from ulrich medical^® ensures particularly gentle examinations. Contrary to common methods the device automatically triggers and monitors the pressure for distension of the colon. This reliable protection against over pressure and the rapid absorption of the introduced CO₂ make treatment far more pleasant for the patient than insufflated room air.
